“in my dreams, the windows are rose-tinted from both sides and no one tells me this is unrealistic”.
I know the idea of seeing the world through rosy glasses is generally a negative thing, a denial of reality or a refusal to see the problems directly in front of you, but is it still negative if the glass is pink from both perspectives? is it blind, toxic optimism or seeing the good in the world despite the negatives? I’m honestly not sure! but I know that, as much as I hate “looking on the bright side”, there is beauty in the melancholy and difficulties, and I hope this is a view you can take going forward: a flower viewing the world outside as a rosy-pink future, despite everything.
my original design as a 5”x7” print on heavy cardstock!
